Good News

"For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes

What is the Gospel or the Good News? It can be presented as follows:

G od loves you. Jeremiah 31:3; John 3:16. The true and living God is the Creator of the universe. He is also the author of the Bible.
He is holy, just and love. This all-powerful God loves YOU!

O nly perfect Son of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21. Jesus is God’s Son. Like God, He is holy; He never sinned.

S in. You have it and need to get rid of it. Sin deserves punishment. Romans 3:23; 6:23.

P recious blood of Jesus. Jesus took the punishment for you when He died on the cross. Hebrews 9:22

E verliving Savior. Jesus is alive, and He can give you life. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

L et Him in; let life begin. Revelation 3:20; Galatians 2:20; 2 Peter 3:18

The Gospel can be summed up as follows:

     God loves.

     God lives.

     We believe.

     We receive.

If you have not received God’s gift of salvation, why not do it now? Tell God you believe in Christ and want to receive Him right now as your Savior.

When you receive Christ as your Savior, you begin an amazing journey with Him. So stay tuned. Next time we will talk a bit about that journey.
